At the end of the aisle stood Liam.
My groom.
The man I loved.
His eyes were already filled with tears.
Not sadness.
Pride.
When I reached him, he took my hand.
He looked at the tiara.
Then at me.
And smiled.
“You finally wore it.”
I laughed softly.
“You knew?”
He nodded.

“I sent that tiara because I wanted you to understand something.”
He turned slightly toward the guests.
Then his voice carried through the room.
“My wife did not become beautiful today because she wore diamonds.”
The room went silent.
