The human body doesn’t store or burn fat the same way we apply cream to our skin. When we consume more energy than we expend, the excess is stored as triglycerides within cells called adipocytes , distributed throughout the body according to our genetics and hormonal profile.
When an ingredient (such as ginger or coffee) slightly stimulates the metabolism, what occurs is a subtle increase in overall energy expenditure, but the body decides where to take the fat from according to its own biological map .
You can’t force your body to burn belly fat while leaving the fat in your arms or legs untouched. Fat loss is always a systemic, general, and progressive process .
